Inspite of the slashing rains and the bomb scare , the last day of the durga puja..Maha Navamicould not keep the spirits down any longer and the evening saw people from all spheres of life coming out of their homes . Even i was pulled out of my home by my friends and we went pandal hopping and in the crowd i could manage to click few pictures . I could not click Mother Durga because of the crowd but i did click one or two of the pandals which i really liked and have put up the pictures here. The first two pictures are of a pandal where once you enter you are reminded of the 14th century. The carvings were very well done....some one told me it was done with thermacol.....i found it very creative. Imagine the whole pandal made of thermacol.
