Diwali....passed off amidst pujas and bursting of crackers..... lighting diyas and candles in and around us. Apart from leaving a hole in the pocket ......it also left behind a lot of pollution in the air and we taking in all that into our lungs . Ughs!!!! I often wonder diwali ......is the festival of lights...then why do we burst crackers. It does no good for us .....instead we tend to do more harm to our enviornment and lest we forget to the poor animals. And most importantly do we realize the factory that these crackers come from mostly employ children which i wonder if at all they are covered under an accident insurance or for that matter health insurance knowing fully well the health hazards. Pathetic state of affairs i should say!!!!! So is it fair for one to enjoy a festival at the cost of another 's risk ????
