Shillong and umbrellas should always go hand in hand.....because you need it both when it is hot and of course when it rains. Today the capital saw a real hot day...i should guess it must have been around 25-26 degrees in the afternoon.......ohh!!!! that is hot here folks. So once we have a hot day like this , it usually follows up with rains and this time i thought i should buy my self a nice bright umbrella.At home i usually land up getting all the discarded ones since who ever takes an umbrella picks the best one out....all have an excuse that i take the car so i don't really need the umbrella.Well for info sake my dear family....we can't drive the car every where...so to end all matters i got this new umbrella today....its bright red....thought it should brighten up the coming monsoons too. For me it would serve a dual purpose....both during the hot sunny weather ( the sun is strong here....burns your skin) and the rainny days. And its quite big too....so i can also share it.....lol!!!!
