World Oral Health Day.........2 !!!!!

Finally I have been able to upload a few pictures from the camp.......I know this is a little late but as I had mentioned in my earlier post, I was having major problem here.Any way ........

To start from where I had left off........when we reached this place, we were awe struck by the beauty of it. It was a small world in this big wide world. Its a place where orphaned children are brought up but with a difference. Its no called an orphanage like most such places. Instead , it is called a Village. Here about 8-10 children live in cottages and each cottage has a lady who looks after the children whom they call Mother. So the children get to live independently in each home with their Mother and the other children are like brothers and sisters. This gives them a sense of belonging and also be a Family. Other staffs are called Aunties.
Before we started work, I took a walk around the Village, trying to absorb in as much as I can....all the beauty around me.
The dental check up went off very well. The children were shown how to brush their teeth in the correct way.......and surprisingly most of the children had good oral hygiene . Over all it was an eventful day...... we had a good team and I enjoyed it to the fullest.
