I was asked by my HOD today to go and do a health programme with the NRHM group. So I had gone to this school called the "Little Flower" where I had to educate them on the different oral health problems and also demonstrate the brushing technique. All this am suppose to deliver in the local language. My students today belong to the age group of 5-7 yrs. I had a tough job ahead. It was a huge group of 450 odd students.....and due to the power failure I could not use the microphone. So well on top of my voice......as loudly as I could..... I tried to communicate to these tiny tots.......going around the hall showing them how to brush their teeth the correct way.....and by the end of one and a half hour of non-stop talking.....I was exhausted. The end product....a sore throat.....and a realization how tough it is to be a primary teacher. Hats off to all the wonderful teachers who taught me in my formative years.
My corner here will have all the stuffs which catches my eye and tickles my thoughts.........
