rainbow in the sky

I had taken this picture from our balcony and it was one of those times that i thank my self for getting a cell phone with a cam. i could capture this picture of a rainbow in a fraction of a second. It was about to disappear when i just about managed to click. This reminded me of a thought which says opportunities are often missed by comman people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. i would have missed this picture if i looked only at the clouds.

Missed opportunties are the one which we often reject to see at very first instance. We loose our patience for the next better things to come and at the end of the day we lose the opportunity to enjoy the very present moment.

Very well said about the missed opportunities. Quite often, people overlook the good things in other people and focus on the bad aspects. These are nothing but missed opportunities - opportunities to harness the good part of others. As they say - Go for Gold. Earth has dirt to offer, it also has gold to offer. only if u r looking for the gold.

Nitu u r really saying things the way a philosopher will say. Which is good. Whats even better is that being philosophical hasnt made u a cynic.

Keep it up.

All the pictures here are worth sackful of gold for one who meditates. Believe me they are a rare natural scenic master pieces.

They are so soothing to watch and the most important thing is the explanation of the owner. Keep it up Dr. Madam.

Hi Nitu

Firstly, thanks for visiting my blogs regularly.

Next, I love this post and the message you posted along with the pic.

Lastly, I really hope and pray that God gives you enough strength to cope with your loss. Believe me... it will get better. :-)

Most importantly, sincere apologies for the delay on my part to post a comment on your blog... work plus trip plus God knows what all kept me very very busy.
