These are a few shots i took of the town early in the morning .........during the day in the peak hours taking pictures from the points i am standing now , will only show rows and rows of vehicles. At this hour its amazingly peaceful and i noticed without the local cabs in view Shillong still looks the lovely hill station..... with wishpering pines...... fresh dewdrops on the car panes.....cold breeze striking your face as you walk up hill. Then as the sun rises the first soft rays caressing what ever it touches and giving us warmth till the town wakes up to another busy noisy day.

To Dr. Nitu Panday
I have seen most of the parts of India, except the North-East region. After seeing your photographs, the desire to see this region has again become alive in me.
Thanks for sharing the nice landscape photos.

This is the Shillong I know ... while travelling from GUA to AGT (and vise versa) in bus, I used to travel these lanes and streets of Shillong - when everybody else would be sleeping ...
Thanks for bringing those moments back to me ...
