A Train Kalakar.......

This was taken in the train while we were coming back......and this is a man who came in the train when we were crossing may be Bengal. He had the most soul touching voice ........the few folk songs that he sang was amazing....could give any of our famous folk singers in the country a run for their money......the depth and sound of his voice still rings in my ears......and somewhere deep in me i felt proud that our country had such hidden talents. The poor man would hop from one train to another singing a few songs to earn his daily bread. And yet he looked happy doing so.....because music was all that he yearned in life.

All of sudden it reminds me of many of my travels during my schoool days/college days/during job... as a sales guy travelled so many places... with one thing common as the barefoot Indegenous kalakars... they are real jewel
