Family Outing.......!!!!!!

If you thought that only we humans had our share of outings, then you thought wrong because here is a group who also share the same hobby.I had taken this picture when I was visiting a Japanese monastery in Bodh Gaya. After dogs, the only other pet I would have loved to have at home are monkeys.....but of course every time just speaking out my idea aloud gives rise to a lot of objections, so I have no choice but to capture my love for them on my cam every time I come across them......and that is not very often as you don't find monkeys loitering here in Shillong. I was sitting on one of these benches and observing them.......and like always am captivated by their actions.......how this whole group came and sat here eating peanuts...... watching the passerby. I specially loved this second picture, where the mother took her baby and was trying to hide behind this rock.......not to miss how the little one was trying to hold on to her bosom. Probably camera shy. We get all kinds here. lol !!!!

They are fun to watch, when they are grooming one another. I bet if that Momma could talk she would have said, back off, you're getting a little too close and invading my space. LOL

too much like humans but I wouldn't want monkeys for pets. I'm working on a new collection of nature notes (poems for my grandkids). so your post was timely.

Nice photos with a good discription of langoors. Where there are langoors there will be no monkey in the surrounding area.
Nice post, I enjoyed reading it!
