This was a long pending post that i wanted to put it up.....on request lol!!! A friend is interested in brooms and had asked me to show some pics if possible ( am late i know...but nevertheless its here.) so well i thought i would show the actual plant and how they dry it in this part of the country.....the end product is of course like any other brooms you see...( not Aunt hilda's broom of course lol!!) .....Meghalaya apart from other things is also famous for its good quality brooms. Now this is usually seen in some parts of the village on the way to Dawki......and since the request came after i was posted out from there , i asked my friend who replaced me to click some pictures as this is the season for it......well don't ask me how i had to convince him to do it.....and why he should do it ....hehe !!!!! any way he did take some pictures but they were all from a moving vehicle so the quality of the picture is not all that great......am sorry !!! but any way its here.....!!!
