This is one of the pictures from the camp I went recently where i was showing the brushing technique......it was not as easy as i thought ......explaining to this girl....the type of brush she should use......the life span of her toothbrush.....how to put the toothpaste......why should she use a toothbrush and what are the functions of a toothbrush.......and then finally the correct brushing method. All that done in silence ......though i tried to use some of the sign language i learnt on the spot and with a little bit of expressing it my way, i felt the message did drive home when i was given a "Thumbs Up " sign.
PS: A little advice from the Dental Office......its not only enough to brush your teeth twice a day.....its also important to brush the correct way with a good tooth brush and tooth paste as both plays an important role in giving you that million dollar smile. So all my dear friends here.....check your toothbrush now......if it has turned into a flowerpot....kindly retire it and invest in a new one. Till the next advice......keep smiling!!!!

Nice tip on the toothbrush.
Your writing is simple and straight to the point. I like your blog.
research of the latest studies is that toothbrushing is not the means to dental health but the use of flouride toothpaste and its stages of exposure as well the oral rinsing practices
@anonymous
nice to know the latest on research but i fail to understand how would one use a flouride toothpaste without a toothbrush...and how would just rinsing the mouth with oral rinses without using a toothbrush help in cleaning your teeth.flouridated water and toothpastes and oral rinses are all important along with brushing but i don't think it would replace a toothbrush.
PS: thanks for visiting me.looking forward to more.
Hi Nituji,
Toothbrush, which turned into a flowerpot will never allow a million dollar smile :)
Nice piece of advice and yes, till the next one reaches us, we'll keep smiling :)
Cheers,
Charan.
Thanks for the laugh, and I hope my teeth are well brushed! LOL I loved your flower pot reminder to replace your toothbrush regularly.
I just finished my lunch as I was catching up, and now am going out to garden before our grandson comes over. I'll be back later to read the school posts.
Hugs,
Sue
