Save Our Heritage.......!!!!!

Has anyone noticed how people love to scribble their names to leave their mark or declare their undying love for their beloved on different heritage sites ???? I once saw someone had left his name on the walls of the Taj Mahal. It pains me to see such man made destructions of our precious heritage. Recently, when I was visiting a museum , I saw hundreds of names and hold your breadth .......with mobile numbers left on the walls . I wanted to click photographs, but was promptly shown a sign of " No Photography Allowed Here " by the guard. It was a laugh no doubt!!!! Photography prohibitted but scribbling allowed . Well , I could not take pictures in the museum but the one here is what I also saw in Nalanda. So a request to Rajan, Tarzan , Meena, Tina, Minu, Tinu.....please spare our precious heritage sites to declare your undying love. These are our National Treasures . Let us save it !!!!

Some people have no respect for anything, probably including themselves. Why anyone wants to leave their name and or a phone number in a public place and on heritage sites, is beyond my way of thinking. They should track them down and make them clean it off and repaint if necessary. We have it here to, especially on overpasses on the highway, how someone can reach them I have no idea.

I agree although our Native American petroplyphs could be seen as graffiti also...

How awful. I too get upset when I see something historic or beautiful all messed up. What is wrong with people?? I had to chuckle over the "no photo" rule....
